Hi Cousins,
We have now received complete information from Shirley Cole on her Shumway Family siblings and from Ted Dana on his Dana Family siblings. At this point we have some contact information for all of the grandchildren of Edwin Drew and Elnora Ann Solomon. There is more contact information needed for the descendant's of William "Bill" Solomon and so if any of you have any of this information please share it with us so that we can make this website as complete as possible.
We have tentatively settled on April 21 for the Cousins Reunion. An alternative date would be May 5th. Please let us know which of these two works best for you. Thanks.

Hi cousins,
Thanks to all of you that have sent contact information for the new
William Henry Solomon Family website. It is appreciated. We seem to
be missing much information from the Shumway and Dana Clans. If any
of you have current information on any of these family members we
would appreciate having it sent to us.
A few of you have responded regarding possible dates for a cousins
reunion get together and we would appreciate hearing from the rest
of you before we pick a date.
In the meantime have another look at the William Henry Solomon
Website. We have upgraded the calendar and you can add events to it
from your computer. The system then sends us an email with the event
you have added, which we review and then publish it on the website
for public view. We have a security feature on the website so that
only family members can view the various pages. The user name is: edwindrewsolomon and the password is: silvercreek.
Shortly we will add another feature which is a family tree. Also . If anyone out
there has the journal of Edwin Drew on their computer as a Word or
PDF Document or something that could be converted to a Word or PDF
Document we would appreciate having it so that it can be posted on
the website. Also any other life stories and pictures of our
parents, grandparents, great-grand parents would also be a great
addition to the website. Please dig into your records and share with
us.

members and request that everyone send these to us as soon as
possible. Finally we would appreciate it everyone could send us
family pictures to add to the photo gallery - we feel that all of
this will make the website richer and help to get the extended
family to connect and know each other better

A Few of the cousins have indicated that we are past due for a family reunion. The talk has been in terms of a reunion for the first generation of cousins as a first step. Shari and I are willing to host this event at our house if that would be a convenient place to have the gathering. We could have a potluck dinner and just get together to catch up on things and visit. We could also plan a more inclusive reunion for later on. We would be open to having this event anytime in April before the weather in the Valley gets too hot. Please pass this note on to all of your siblings since we still do not have a complete email list for everyone. Let us know what date would work for you in April or May 2012. Thanks.
